If you haven’t already booked your stay in Mendocino, I do recommend getting an Airbnb over a hotel as often times the properties through Airbnb’s are nicer. Many couples like to do family photos and/or the “first look” before they leave for the venue and a nice Airbnb can give us a great location to take those photos. This also eliminates a trip to another location would could involve many cars driving together and having to park separately somewhere else. Pro tip!
There’s almost no one you can trust more to tell you all about the intricacies and details of a wedding venue more than a wedding photographer. Also, engagement sessions are longer which gives us a great opportunity to get to know each other and for me to find your best looks. A photographer that just shows up to your wedding day having never photographed you (or even seen you before) may not get the photos that someone your experienced with will. I really think that having trust in your photographer to capture you from the best angles on your wedding day is vital to creating beautiful images.

In the summer of 2021, Little League gave me the amazing opportunity to be the official on field photographer for the Little League World Series West Regionals. This included both the girl’s softball tournament as well as the boys with a week’s break in between. In that span I shot 36 games over 14 days and ended up taking over 50,000 photos in 95+ degree temperatures.
